The Buncombe County Schools Foundation will open its 2026 grant cycle Oct. 1, giving Buncombe County Schools educators and school leaders an opportunity to apply for funding to support innovative learning opportunities for students.
Grants are available to teachers, instructional coaches, coaches, school officials and principals for projects that enhance learning and provide additional opportunities for students across Buncombe County Schools.
Applications will open Oct. 1 through AwardSpring, the foundation’s online application system. The grant application period will remain open through Oct. 23.
Following the application deadline, grants will be reviewed by volunteer readers. Grant awards will be distributed in December.
The BCS Foundation provides funding each year to support innovative and creative programs throughout Buncombe County Schools, helping educators bring ideas to life that may not be covered through traditional school funding.
Educators interested in applying should watch for the AwardSpring application to open Oct. 1.
