We are all living through what has been described as a historic catastrophe. Our hearts and prayers are with our BCS families who have suffered the impacts of Hurricane Helene. We stand together as our neighborhoods and school community recover. Relief efforts for our students and families in Buncombe County Schools continue to be at the forefront of our priorities. Efforts will continue to be ongoing.

To propel these efforts forward, we will be taking both monetary and in-kind donations. In-person monetary donations can be dropped off at Nesbitt Discovery Academy, located at 175 Bingham Road, Asheville, NC 28806 between the hours of 10:00am - 3:00pm, Monday-Friday. For online monetary donations use the "Donate" button located below. For those who feel led to donate stock, items not listed, or an online monetary donation greater than $25,000 - please email crystal.cheek@bcsemail.org. If BCS is an established vendor within your system, we can accept ACH payments.
