BCSF is proud to work with the North Carolina Retired School Personnel (NCRSP) to provide funding for supplies for one Beginning Teacher. A $500.00 grant will be awarded to one beginning teacher (teachers in their first three years of teaching). Applications open February 1st and end on February 15th. The winner will be announced March 1st. Please share this with all Beginning Teachers!
BCSF is proud to offer the BCSF Teacher Assistant Workforce Grant. This grant provides financial assistance to Teacher Assistants pursuing their teaching degree. Four (4) $1000.00 grants will be awarded with the checks directly being sent to the post-secondary institutions of the winners. This workforce initiative is sponsored through the Asheville Chamber of Commerce 125th Grant which the foundation won in the fall. Please take advantage of this great opportunity! Applications open February 1st and close April 1st.
